Crudine Ridge Wind Farm

The Project

Crudine Ridge Wind Farm is located on Wiradjuri Country, approximately 45 km south of Mudgee, NSW. The facility generates enough renewable electricity to power more than 75,000 homes each year, contributing significantly to Australia’s clean energy transition. A1 Earthworx was engaged to deliver complex civil works across challenging terrain, including track construction, engineered access routes, watercourse crossings and hardstand installations to support turbine infrastructure delivery.

The Scope

  • Construction and upgrading of 15 km of access tracks
  • Delivery of 9 km of engineered track through wet and unsuitable ground conditions
  • Construction of tracks from the main access road to individual pole locations
  • Installation of hardstand pads to support pole installation and associated infrastructure
  • Construction of 11 gabion gully crossings across temporary watercourses
  • Upgrade of the Crudine Creek crossing
